Scotty Lund
Bio


Scotty was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Growing up around a diverse mix of music, he immersed himself in playing many styles at an early age including Rock, Pop, Jazz, R&B, Latin, Country and Blues. He started playing professionally at 18 sneaking into local Hollywood clubs and pubs. Surf-punk legends Agent Orange soon took notice and handed him the drum chair. He toured extensively with them throughout the world for the next 6 years.

He went on to play and record with with a slew of notable artists and productions including Rihanna, The Los Angeles Lakers, Lowen & Navarro, Phil Solem, The Rembrandts, The Surfaris, Disney, Tony Kaye, Geoff Emerick, Jack Wagner, Karla Bonoff, Kenny Edwards, Freebo, Darrell Scott, Big Jay McNeely, Cameron Daddo, Peter DiStefano, Jonathan McEuen, Eric McFadden, Travis HowardArigon Starr, Candyman, 1000 Clowns, Forest for the Trees, Noah "The Kid Fantastic" EnghThe Fizzies, and Stonehoney.

In the studio, Scotty's worked with several renowned producers including: Ric Wake (Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Chicago Sdtk), Eric “ET” Thorngren (The Talking Heads, Squeeze, The Von Bondies), Brian Kennedy (Ciara, Brandy, Rihanna), and Rudy Haeusermann (Rob Zombie, Tina Turner, Deborah Gibson). His drumming has been featured on several feature and independent films including Rob Zombie's "El Superbeasto", "Shilo 3", and "The Haven", as well as several national/ international commercial spots and television shows on MTV, NBC and various Cable/Satellite networks. He performed at The 2011 Grammy Awards with Rihanna and has had many additional appearances on national television, MTV and various independent films, as well as performing in a variety of musicals including Madison Mason's Off-Broadway production "Howlin' at the Moon”, and Rick Batalla’s original production “Blake...da Musical”. He has mixed and produced a variety of local artists as well as co-written/produced and performed on several commercial spots, television themes and film soundtracks out of his own studio.

In addition to his busy schedule, Scotty donates his time regularly to his favorite charity Art of Elysium where he plays bedside to hospitalized children along  with other talented artists donating their time. Please click here if you'd like more information about them and how to get involved.
